Today was a big day for all of us at Ace Equipment—William Eunice, got interviewed by Emily Dawson from Fox 4 News. She’s one of the top reporters in the agriculture and equipment industry, so yeah, it was a pretty big deal. We were all buzzing around the office, curious to hear what he had to say. And honestly? He nailed it.

William—Mr. Eunice to some of us—talked about the wild ride we’ve had in 2024. It’s been a record-breaking year, and we’ve all felt the momentum. He shared how smart sourcing, a retiree buyout program, and some serious investment in our own trucks and trailers have helped take the company to a whole new level.

Let me tell you, catching our boss for an interview isn’t easy. He’s always out and about—whether he’s bidding at auctions, handling logistics, or riding shotgun on deliveries just to make sure everything’s done right. But when Emily finally caught up with him, he had a lot to share.

The Logistics Game-Changer

He told her one of the smartest moves we made this year was investing in our own logistics setup. We bought our own trucks and trailers so we could handle deliveries ourselves. It’s been a total game-changer. Now we can offer super competitive shipping rates, especially to our out-of-state customers. It’s helped us reach folks who wouldn’t have considered us before.

And from the warehouse team to the drivers, we’ve all seen the difference. The shipping’s smoother, faster, and way more reliable.

Auctions & Smart Sourcing

Another big thing he talked about was how active we are at auctions. William is constantly hunting down the best machines at the best prices, and that effort means our customers get quality equipment without the insane markups. It also keeps our inventory fresh and full of variety—which, if you’ve ever seen our lot, you know is true.

Helping Retirees, Growing Our Fleet

Then there’s the retiree buyout program. This one hits home. We’ve met so many folks this year—farmers and contractors who’ve spent decades in the field—who are ready to hang up their boots. We make it easy for them to sell their equipment directly to us. It’s been rewarding on both ends. They get a smooth transition, and we get access to some really well-maintained machines. A true win-win.

What’s Next?

William wrapped it up by talking about the future. We’re not slowing down. If anything, we’re ramping things up in 2025—more trucks, more sourcing, and more ways to make life easier (and cheaper) for our customers.

“Our goal,” he said, “is to make buying equipment as easy and cost-effective as possible for farmers and contractors across the country.” And knowing him, we’re going to do just that.

It’s been exciting to be part of this journey—and honestly, hearing our story told like that today? Made all of us feel even prouder of what we’re building here at Ace Equipment.
